Katie England, MSExercise Physiologist
Katie England received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Miami University in Oxford, OH and her Masters of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Applied Exercise Physiology from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Since completing her master’s degree, Katie has been working in Phase II and Phase III Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehabilitation programs, inpatient and outpatient stress testing, and a low risk chest pain clinic.
Katie is an avid triathlete and cyclist, and has been coaching since 2013. She is a certified USA Triathlon Level I coach, USA Cycling Level III coach, USA Triathlon Youth & Junior coach, and is currently one of only 18 USA Triathlon Paratriathlon certified coaches in the United States. She is also FMS Level 2 certified. She is a multi-time Ironman All World Athlete and multi-time qualifier for USAT Age Group Nationals. Katie joined Northwestern Medicine Executive Health in January 2021 and brings an extensive clinical and professional background working with diverse patient populations with specialized needs. She is passionate about helping her patients set and achieve goals to optimize their health, fitness, and quality of life. She is committed to furthering her education and is currently pursuing certification as a Behavior Change Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. In her free time, Katie enjoys exploring new trails with her dog Parker, setting cycling records, and testing out new baking recipes in the kitchen. |
