Carolyn Mueller, MS, CEP

Exercise Physiologist
Carolyn Mueller received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Pfeiffer University, NC and her Masters of Science in Kinesiology from James Madison University, VA.  Carolyn is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist as well as an Inclusive Fitness Trainer.  She is also a Performance Enhancement Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and FMS Certified.
 
While obtaining her Masters degree, Carolyn interned at the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab (formerly the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago).  After graduating, she began her clinical career as Manager of the Adaptive Fitness Services at the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab.  She has since worked in both commercial and private fitness club settings to help bridge the gap between physical therapy and fitness professionals.
 
Carolyn joined Northwestern Medicine Executive Health in 2020 and is experienced in working with a variety of backgrounds and medical conditions.  She enjoys being a resource for her patients to assist them in achieving sustainable fitness goals.
