Anna Jonas, DODr. Jonas will be joining Northwestern Medicine Executive Health on April 1, 2025.
Anna Jonas, DO, earned her Bachelor of Science degree in medical microbiology and immunology from University of Wisconsin, Madison. She is a graduate of Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she also earned a master’s degree in health services administration. Dr. Jonas completed her family medicine residency at West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, Illinois. She also completed a fellowship in neuromusculoskeletal medicine at Rocky Vista University in Parker, Colorado. Neuromusculoskeletal medicine is a specialty in osteopathic medicine that involves diagnosing and treating conditions involving nerves, muscles, soft tissue and bones. The goal of this type of medicine is to help the body heal itself. Dr. Jonas started practicing primary care at Northwestern Medicine Osher Center for Integrative Health in 2019, serving as its medical director from 2021 to 2025. She has been a member of the Northwestern Medicine Primary Care Wellbeing Subcommittee since 2020. Dr. Jonas’ clinical interests include:
"My philosophy of care centers around my osteopathic training to treat the whole person and promote the inherent healing mechanisms that exist within the body. I combine my expertise in family medicine, neuromusculoskeletal medicine and integrative medicine with the wants and needs of my patients. My goal is to establish a strong patient-physician relationship and find a treatment plan that resonates most with the individual.” |
